Mutant Bass was born on October 1, 2004 from musical powers that I observed. I noticed that bass players that seemed to possess mutant ability simultaneously demonstrated multiple powers during their playing. These musicians consistently executed a superior level in each of these powers: Hearing, Language, Learning, Technique, Time, and Voice. As a result, this list became a blueprint for teaching myself and all my students.
